Our Programs

RiZing! (Kindergarten - Grade 2)

3:45 - 5:15 Wednesdays

Our youngest division focuses on the basics of choral singing.  This youngest division helps prepare children with the necessary performance, literacy (sol-fa) and focusing skills necessary for choral singing.  RiZing! choristers are mentored during part of this rehearsal by the older singers.  This young division participates one Saturday a month in our games-based music theory workshop with the conductors.

Zing!One (Grades 3-4)

3:45 - 5:45 Wednesdays

This novice division builds a foundation for enjoyment and success in Zing!  Children are given the opportunity to develop more advanced skills in music reading through a leveled program of sight-singing and age-appropriate repertoire.  Choristers explore developing a healthy vocal tone and an increased range. With more rehearsal time, children in Zing! One are given opportunities to help develop their self-confidence and make meaningful friendships within the choir.

Zing! Too (Grades 5-7)

3:45 - 6pm Wednesdays

A large focus is on developing the independent skills necessary for learning the music and texts, and on the increasing demands for a consistent, healthy and brilliant vocal tone.   Repertoire includes a variety of chamber music, a cappella music, pop and vocal jazz arrangements.

TeenZ! (Grades 8-12)

6:45 - 8:30 pm Wednesdays

This is a great opportunity for older Zing! members to explore vocal technique and unique repertoire from all genres of music. This choir will provide singers the experience to take their musicianship to the next level and develop their vocal abilities with a broad range of styles.
